Responsibilities

• Operate and shape materials using machines to meet specifications.
• Set up machines and verify drawings, blueprints, or tools.
• Safely lift and position materials using cranes or forklifts as needed.
• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and support housekeeping and 5-S practices.

What You'll Do

• Operate and Shape : Use machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or shape materials into specified components to meet current demands.
• Prepare and Set Up : Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
• Lift and Position Materials : Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to Improvement : Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
