Job description

Manufactures high-quality, low-cost pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV quality and safety measures.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operates winding machine
2. Run DSC machine
3. Extractor cart operation
4. Operate impact gun
5. Use measuring equipment
6. Operation of mix station
7. Understand specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product
8. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
9. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
10. Utilize safe work habits
11. Wear appropriate PPE
12. Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
13. Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
14. Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
15. Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to read pressure gauges
2. Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
3. Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
4. Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
5. Standing up to 12 hours daily
6. Walking up to 12 hours daily
7. Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
8. Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
9. Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
10. Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
11. Assist where and when needed as required
12. Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
13. Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

1. Three years of verifiable work history
2. Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
