Machine Operator I (BM) 12 Hr Rotating Days

Machine Operators play a crucial role in manufacturing and production by operating and maintaining machinery. This description covers the responsibilities and skills for Machine Operator I, with progression to Machine Operator II.

Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Operate assigned machinery under supervision.
  • Load raw materials and monitor production.
  • Perform basic setup and adjustments.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
  • Record production data accurately.
  • Complete tasks within timeframes.
  • Document and communicate actions and irregularities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and attendance.
