Job Description

Position: Chino Machine Operator Downstream

Reports To: Shift Supervisor and/or Production Lead

Job Summary: Performs repetitive production and packing operations to process products such as plastic bottles.

Essential Functions

1. Follow all safety policies and procedures; wear all PPE as directed.
2. Complete required training and assist in training coworkers.
3. Operate production equipment to meet specifications.
4. Work at different stations as needed, monitor product flow, troubleshoot machinery, and perform adjustments or repairs.
5. Stage and maintain packaging materials, input data into computer systems, and ensure quality standards.
6. Maintain cleanliness and follow SOPs and JSA procedures.
7. Conduct quality inspections of in-process and finished products.
8. Perform other assignments as directed by management.
9. Comply with environmental and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to manipulate products, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various temperatures.
• Willingness to work any shift.
