Machine Operator I (6:00pm to 6:00am) C Shift

Job Overview

In this role, you will set up and operate one or two pieces of manufacturing machinery of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery using hand tools as necessary
• Properly dispose of hazardous chemicals
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently
• Assist in training team members in machine operation tasks
• Inspect work for defects before passing it to the next process
• Complete production and quality documentation

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ideally 6+ months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors
• Ability to operate various machinery

Physical Demands

• Work classified as Medium-Heavy Physical Demand Level
• Lift up to 75 pounds with assistance occasionally; up to 40 pounds frequently
• Continuous standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting
• Constant gripping, manipulation, fingering; frequent use of hand/power tools
