Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled manufacturing technician for an onsite role in Downers Grove, IL. You will work from process sheets and blueprints, set up and operate production machines, and maintain quality records.

The position offers $20-$25 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with match, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Must have a high school diploma and ability to read English diagrams; lifting up to 50 lbs; US person required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read and interpret English work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand through an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.
• Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.
• Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality records.

Key Accountabilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
