Job summary

Seaway Plastics Engineering is seeking a candidate for 3rd Shift (9:00pm – 7:30am, Mon–Thu) to support production through adherence to work instructions, ISO/IQMS standards, and safety protocols. You will ensure quality parts, record rejects, and maintain cleanliness and efficiency at the workstation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, dexterity, and a commitment to continuous learning, with a focus on teamwork and meeting production targets in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to ensure quality parts.
• Maintain company manufacturing standards to produce acceptable parts.
• Maintain cycle times and report inefficiencies to process technician and/or supervisor.
• Recognize and record rejects.
• Report excessive rejects per Seaway's work instruction standards.
• Follow IQMS and ISO standards.
• Follow and support safety standards.
• Recognize and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
• Follow Seaway's colored light communication system when needing help.
• Communicate effectively from operator to relief operator.
• Perform the process and tasks for each job-specific production mold with varying complexity.
• Use approved samples and quality documents as guidelines during production.
• Responsible for meeting standards for efficiencies, scrap, and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow work instructions to ensure quality parts
