Job summary

Seaway Plastics in Brooksville, FL, is seeking a production operator to follow detailed work instructions and maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor. You will support continuous improvement and ensure efficient, compliant production of parts.

The role focuses on adhering to ISO/IQMS standards, keeping workstation organized, and effectively communicating across shifts to prevent defects and downtime.

Qualifications

• Follow work instructions to ensure quality parts.
• Maintain manufacturing standards to produce acceptable parts.
• Maintain cycle times and report inefficiencies.
• Recognize and record rejects.
• Follow IQMS and ISO standards.
• Follow safety standards and report safety issues.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Use color light system to request help.
• Communicate effectively across shifts.
• Perform tasks for each production mold with varying complexity.
• Use approved samples and quality documents as guidelines.
• Meet targets for efficiencies, scrap and safety.

• Follow work instructions to ensure quality parts
• Maintain good company manufacturing standards to produce acceptable parts.
• Maintain cycle times and report any inefficiencies to process technician and / or supervisor.
• Recognize and record rejects
• Report excessive rejects per Seaway's work instruction standards.
• Follow IQMS and ISO standards.
• Follow and support safety standards.
• Recognize and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
• Follow Seaway's colored light communication system when needing help.
• Communicate effectively from operator to relief operator.
• Performs the process and task for each job specific production mold consisting of varying levels of complexity
• Use the provided approved Sample and quality documents as a guideline during production.
• Responsible for meeting standards for efficiencies and scrap, and safety.
