Job summary

Ultrafab Inc. Greer facility is seeking 2nd shift machine operators to support production of weatherstripping. This hands-on role is ideal for those with manufacturing experience or technical skills.

You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment, load materials, perform simple adjustments, monitor quality, follow safety procedures, and record production data while collaborating with technicians and supervisors to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude or technical skill strongly desired.
• Ability to read work instructions, measurements, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently once trained.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator, you'll support the production of weatherstripping used by customers worldwide. This role goes beyond button-pushing and is well-suited for mechanically inclined operators.

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshootproduction equipment
• Load raw materials and remove finished products
• Make simple machine adjustments as needed before moving to setups, basic changeovers, and machine adjustments
• Monitor quality standards and maintain specifications
• Follow all safety,quality, and production procedures
• Accurately record production data and communicate issues as they arise
• Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to support continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a louder production environment

Pay Range $18-$21 per hour
