Job summary

ROMARK is seeking a Machine Operator Level I in Irving, TX, on 1st shift (7:30am–3:30pm). You will inspect machinery, run multiple machines, read BOMs, and ensure accurate production records while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read a tape measure, basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Bilingual skills are a plus; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine inspections of machinery before and after shift.
• Maintain accurate records on equipment and production.
• Run multiple machines and read Build of Materials (BOM).
• Set up equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform quality checks and sanitation throughout shift.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist training of staff.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials for production.
• Follow safety, quality, and productivity standards.

We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and supportive work environment where every team member is empowered to speak up and work safely.1st Shift: 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday - FridayWhat You’ll Do:The tasks and responsibilities required of Machine Operator Level I are outlined below:Completes routine inspections of machinery before and after shift.Must maintain accurate records on equipment and team production.Must have the ability to run multiple machines.Must have the ability of understanding weights that are required for different jobs.Possess the ability to break down and put together equipment for accuracy.Must be able to set up the equipment with minimal supervision.Understands how to read a Build of Materials (B.O.M.)Must be able to do a Quality check online when needed.Ability to follow proper Sanitation throughout the shift.Possess the ability to troubleshoot problems that arise throughout the shift.Monitors and maintains the inventory levels of necessary raw materials for production.Responsible for programming and make changes to machine and create new programs.Monitors and adjusts equipment to maintain an efficient and accurate operation. (i.e. adjustments to conveyor belts, weight scales)Audits product to ensure accuracy and quality.Using statistical process analysis to monitor machine performance.Assists with employee training and developmental efforts.Responsible to follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.Participates in special projects as required.Ability to step in and run Flex Lines efficiently if needed.Follows and enforces all CoPack GMP’s.Perform other duties as assigned.Able to direct the temporary workforce to their respective areas on the production floor.What We’re Looking For:The skills and qualifications required for a Machine Operator are evaluated below:Must have a high school diploma or GED.Must be able to read a tape measure.Must be able to perform basic mathematical equations and or skills.Experience with statistical methods preferred.Good written and oral communication.
