Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a Machine Operator I in Selma, AL to set up and operate production equipment following established procedures. You will secure materials, feed the machine, and ensure a clean, safe work area while meeting production targets.

Responsibilities include completing shift start-up checks, maintaining production records, inspecting materials and finished products, and participating in safety and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
