Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour

Additional $2.00 shift differential from 3pm -- 6am

Shift: 1

Hours: 5:30am-3:30 pm

What we are looking for:

1. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-1 years of experience preferred, must be 18 years of age
2. This job is in a fast-paced environment and will require you to be physically active

1. Operate machines safely with minimal supervision
2. Lift up to 50 lbs. - bending, carrying, pushing, pulling and other activities as needed
3. Communicate and problem solve with coworkers
4. Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time
5. Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
6. Perform basic math and obtain necessary production specifications
7. Pass on information to co-workers/relay information to and from all employee levels including management
8. Work different ranges of hours such as overtime or weekend shifts (The hours for this position may change based on production schedule)
9. Candidates receiving offers of employment will be required to complete a post-offer, pre-placement background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment with simple functions
2. Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup
3. Controlling of line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety
4. Completing various quality checks
5. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required; including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber boots
6. Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety operation, training, as appropriate)
7. Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Years of Related Experience: 0-1 year of related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications. Prefer proficient communication and reasoning skills to pass on information to co-workers and to relay information to and from all employee levels including management and skilled personnel.
