Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate independently or with a partner on one machine (CNC press brakes, shears, hand brakes, punch presses, robotic forming cells, turret).
  • Follow daily manufacturing work orders, noting material specifics.
  • Assist with other machinery operation under supervision.
  • Help on packaging and line operations as needed.
  • Band and palletize metal parts, label finished products.
  • Perform quality checks for dimensions and weights.
  • Achieve production goals while maintaining safety standards.
  • Adjust machinery based on observations and feedback.
  • Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and daily inspections.
  • Maintain an orderly work area.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

  • Motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift; training provided.
  • Demonstrate safe practices and attention to detail.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use measuring devices.
  • Team player, able to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, operating machinery, climbing, walking, standing, sitting, working in extreme temperatures, and repetitive motions.

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Regular use of PPE required.
