Job summary

Lennox AES in Tallassee, AL is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring quality standards and efficient processes. This role supports various fabrication tasks within Lennox AES, a division of Lennox, at our Tallassee location.

The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, basic tooling knowledge, and a high school diploma. The position offers an hourly wage with overtime eligibility in accordance with state law and company policy.

• Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
• Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
• Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.

What Drives Success

A Machine Operator for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives , and assisting in other areas .

Duties

Education/Experience

• Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams or assembly instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $19.50/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
