Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. The hourly rate for Illinois-based employees is $21.00/hour ($18/hour + $3.00 shift differential).

• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

Join the Glanbia Performance Nutrition team as a Mixer Associate. We are holding interviews with on-the-spot offers and have multiple shift opportunities available!

As a Mixer Associate, you will manage the operations of manufacturing equipment, including maintaining and adjusting machines during operations and performing downtime cleaning activities.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Working with known allergens (milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, tree nuts)
• Handling powders
• Staying active by moving materials on the production floor
• Troubleshooting defects and ensuring product quality
• Completing reports accurately (e.g., allergen clean, flavor change sheets, safety audits)
• Wearing PPE: N95 respirator, lab coat, safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, nitrile gloves

Requirements to succeed:

• Lift up to 55 lbs. occasionally from ground to waist
• Lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally from waist to shoulder
• Carry up to 55 lbs. up to 5 ft.
• Pull a 55 lb. bag from 60 inches height occasionally
• Perform machine setups
• Follow work procedures consistently (Safety, Quality, GMP, HACCP)
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Operate machines and change parts
• Basic math and computer skills (SAP, RF scan guns)

Preferred qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with RF scan guns
• Experience in food or consumer products environment
