Immediate Hiring for Entry-Level and Experienced Manufacturing Team Members at Glanbia Performance Nutrition!

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. For Illinois-based roles, the hourly rate is $18.00/hour.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a set shift of 6:00am-2:30pm (1st shift).

Join our team as a Mixer Associate. We are conducting interviews with on-the-spot offers and have multiple shift opportunities available!

In this role, you'll develop your career and skills in an environment that values innovation, initiative, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of manufacturing equipment, including maintenance, adjustments, and cleaning during downtime.
• Work with known allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nuts.
• Handle powders and stay active on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot defects and ensure product quality.
• Accurately complete paper reports (e.g., allergen clean, flavor change sheets, safety audits).
• Wear PPE including N95 respirator, lab coat, safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves.
• Practice continuous safety protocols.

Physical and operational requirements:

• Lift up to 55 lbs. occasionally from ground to waist, and from waist to shoulder.
• Carry up to 55 lbs. up to 5 ft.
• Pull 55 lbs. bags from 60 inches height.
• Perform machine setups and follow work procedures consistently (Safety, Quality, GMP, HACCP).
• Fluent in English reading, writing, and communication.
• Operate machines with knowledge of changeovers.
• Basic math and computer skills (SAP, RF scan guns).

Preferred qualifications:

• Powder production experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with RF scan guns.
• Food or consumer product industry experience.
