Service Wire is a premier manufacturer of industrial, utility, and commercial wire and cable. Our regional manufacturing location in Phoenix is seeking a conscientious and team-oriented Machine Operator Helper to join our organization in this full-time position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Load and unload reels
2. Set equipment parameters on rewinding, auto winders, and other related equipment
3. Follow all documented instructions including detailed packaging specifications
4. Perform basic quality inspections of final product
5. Have sufficient knowledge of extrusion process to be able to operate the line while the operator is away
6. Prepare legible reports and record daily production information
7. Maintain safety standards and organized work environment

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Basic math and measuring skills
2. Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions
3. Ability to stand and move about facility for extended periods
4. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.
5. Ability to operate fast-paced equipment
6. High school diploma/GED or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training

Must be available to work Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm. $1.50/hr shift differential offered.
