Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a hands-on manufacturing operator in Monticello, IA. Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour and includes full-time hours in a heavy production setting.

You will set up and operate heavy machinery, read blueprints, follow safety rules, and perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth, high-quality production processes. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of high production manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high production manufacturing environment.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Knowledge of production techniques and ability to produce quality-building parts.
• Follow safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools.
