Job Description

What a great opportunity for an experienced machinist! We are looking for someone to set up and operate the Hardinge T-42 machine. You will be responsible for prioritizing work in your area to meet daily production goals. If you are self-directed and collaborate well as part of a small team, this could be the job for you!

*Day shift *Weekdays only *No nights *Climate-controlled facility

Responsibilities Include:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain Hardinge T-42 machine
  • Scan production orders and send the programs to the machines
  • Measure and visually inspect finished parts for compliance with drawings
  • Perform secondary operations on parts, such as cleaning and sanding
  • Organize production orders in the work center
  • Operate single spindle machine for secondary operations
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Change tubes, collets, chucks, and stamps as necessary
  • Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues
Requirements:
  • Milling machine/CNC machinist experience
  • Experience using micrometers
  • FANUC experience
  • Able to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit or stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity
  • High School Diploma or GED
