Job summary

Tanis Brush Incorporated is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run production equipment, inspect parts, and maintain clean, safe work areas. You will read orders and blueprints, operate clippers and rotary trimmers, and help with basic preventive maintenance. Team-oriented and detail-focused candidates grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of machinist or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math, measuring, and reading blueprints.
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load programs, and operate machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and blueprints.
• Operate clippers, rotary trimmers, and other secondary equipment.
• Inspect products using precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Support new employee training.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety procedures and ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standards.
• Contribute positively to our mission, vision, and values.
• Perform other duties as needed.
