Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking an experienced Machine Operator GL3 for Bizerba (Beef) on the 1st shift. The role involves precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and creating or modifying programs based on equipment, product, and customer needs. Safety and GMP standards apply throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• General Production 2 proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2+ years production industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow company, plant, and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.
• Ability to lift, load, cut and package product.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment.
• Monitor production lines and identify issues.
• Inspect and remove defective products or packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up and tear down of equipment and select pre-determined settings.
• Operate pallet jack/riders/forklift equipment.
• Modify and create program settings to meet production standards.
