Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator in Holland, MI to operate production machinery across cell and assembly departments. You will perform standard machine operation tasks, support general production activities, and maintain quality while following safety guidelines in a fully onsite role.

The position offers full-time hours with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a minimum tenure of 9 months at each previous job.
• Ability to perform production and general labor tasks, including machine operation and material handling.
• Capability to walk extensively within a large facility and move materials as needed.
• Consistent work history without unemployment gaps longer than 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper performance and product quality, and address basic issues or escalate as needed.
• Perform standard machine operating tasks, including starting, stopping, adjusting, and overseeing equipment throughout the shift.
• Handle general production duties such as packaging finished products and moving parts, materials, and boxes throughout the plant.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S3K principles.
