CPI Card Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This seasonal role involves operating production equipment, maintaining quality, and adhering to safety protocols in a climate-controlled facility.

After 75 working days, you may become a full-time employee with benefits commencing after the probationary period. The position offers overtime opportunities, with an hourly rate of $19.50 plus a $2.93 shift differential, for a total rate of $22.43 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
• At least one year's experience in machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail, including color differentiation
• Proficient in math for calculating percentages, areas and volumes
• Ability to set up computer-aided machinery with Windows-based computers
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
• Elementary English communication skills required

Current Overtime Schedule: Friday - Sunday 4:00am-4:00pm plus 16 hours of overtime during the week

Hourly rate - $19.50

Shift Diff - $2.93

Total rate - $22.43

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Dependable with a track record of good attendance and punctuality
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary

Some Important Seasonal Employee Details:

• 90-day work assignment, which includes a 30-day attendance required period for training purposes.
• After 75 working days, you may be eligible for full-time employment if you maintain good standing with the company, including attendance, performance and teamwork.
• This seasonal position does not offer benefits, such as production attendance bonus, production performance bonus, double time, PTO or paid holidays.
• Overtime work is required

Physical Requirements:

• The working environment is a production facility with a focus on safety and teamwork
• The role requires standing for long periods, stooping, walking, bending, pulling climbing and lifting materials up to 50lbs as well as exposure to various machinery and materials.
