Job summary

Piedmont Candy Company is seeking a skilled wrapper operator to join our production team in the United States. This bilingual role (English/Spanish) supports multiple wrapper lines and helps onboard new team members.

You will operate wrapper machines, swap film for changes, monitor quality, and ensure timely material delivery to the correct line. The role also includes training peers and floating as needed to maintain production continuity.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required to communicate with team members and trainers.
• Experience operating production or packaging machinery preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn candy specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate wrapper machines to wrap individual candy pieces per specs.
• Change wrapper film during job changes or replenishment to minimize downtime.
• Monitor product flow and report quality issues to supervisor.
• Ensure correct materials reach the appropriate line on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, debris-free work area across shifts.
• Follow PPE and GMP requirements and document compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to new wrapper operators; bilingual candidates preferred.
• Float across wrapper lines to support production continuity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
