Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP in Asheville, NC is seeking a Production Operator for fleecing to support the FPM OP Production team. You will assist in setting up, operating, and monitoring the production process to meet quality, quantity, and timing targets.

We value up to 3 years of production experience, basic English, and a technical certification or equivalent. You’ll work under guidance with senior Operators, learn safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in production/manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures, basic data entry.
• Basic English proficiency; fluency in local language required.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, teamwork, adaptability and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, adjusting settings as needed within limits.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; report issues promptly.
• Follow safety, HSE, and work instructions and document production data.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates while learning procedures.
• Schedule: 12 hr swing shift, 6:40-6:50 rotating days/nights.

The FPM OP Production Employee Support C is responsible for assisting in setting up, operating, and monitoring the production process under close guidance. Supports stable production flow by observing process parameters, checking products for deviations, and ensuring machines and the workplace remain clean and safe. Follows established safety and work instructions and reports technical or HSE issues promptly. Designed to develop operational skills and capabilities, working closely with senior Operators to ensure products are delivered in the required quality, quantity, and timeframe.
