Job summary

MSI Express, Inc is seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time, in-person role in Batavia, IL. The position offers hourly pay between $18.00 and $22.00 plus health and vision benefits, dental insurance, PTO and 401(k) matching.

The operator will monitor and maintain machinery, perform basic maintenance, and assist with line setup and cleanup to ensure production efficiency while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to identify labels and bottle codes.
• Ability to operate computer equipment for the line operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment according to quality specifications.
• Maintain and monitor warehouse machinery to meet production goals.
• Assist in line setup, stocking, reworking and cleanup to keep line functioning.
• Report malfunctions or substandard speeds to supervisor.
• Follow all safety practices and PPE requirements.

Their duties and responsibilities often include: Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requiredThe operator is responsible to understand all quality specifications associated with the machinery and operate the machinery or equipment in compliance with those standardsThe operator is responsible to operate the machinery or equipment at speeds sufficient to accomplish the production efficiency goals set by the supervisorThe operator is responsible to recognize when the equipment is malfunctioning or operating at substandard speeds and immediately inform the supervisorThe operator is responsible to ensure that all raw materials required to operate the machinery or equipment are of the specified part number prior to being installed on the equipmentThe operator is required to perform basic maintenance on the machinery or equipment to which they are assignedThe operator is required to assist in the cleanup and / or the setup of the line by stocking, reworking, troubleshooting and any other duties that will be required to keep the line functioningFollow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practicesThis position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
