Job summary

MSI Express, INC in Geneva, IL is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to support production. You will operate and monitor machinery, perform basic line maintenance, and help ensure product quality and efficiency on the production line.

Their duties and responsibilities often include: Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required* The operator is responsible to understand all quality specifications associated with the machinery and operate the machinery or equipment in compliance with those standards* The operator is responsible to operate the machinery or equipment at speeds sufficient to accomplish the production efficiency goals set by the supervisor* The operator is responsible to recognize when the equipment is malfunctioning or operating at substandard speeds and immediately inform the supervisor* The operator is responsible to ensure that all raw materials required to operate the machinery or equipment are of the specified part number prior to being installed on the equipment* The operator is required to perform basic maintenance on the machinery or equipment to which they are assigned* The operator is required to assist in the cleanup and / or the setup of the line by stocking, reworking, troubleshooting and any other duties that will be required to keep the line functioning* Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices* This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
