Responsibilities
  1. Machine Operator – Operations I
  • Operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
  • Develop understanding of products and their impact on the business.
  • Continuously learn principles, practices, and processes related to the job.
  • Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques.
  • Communicate hazards and equipment issues with leadership.
  • Occasionally train employees as needed.
  • Cross-train in different department areas and stations.
  • Machine Operator – Operations II
    • All responsibilities of Machine Operator I.
    • Operate complex machinery at a minimum of 50% stations independently at a defined rate with quality.
    • Train employees on work instructions and standard work.
    Requirements
    • High school Diploma or GED.
    • 2-3 years of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Teamwork and professional communication skills.
    • Ability to use hand tools precisely.
    Physical Demands

    Regular talking, hearing, and manual manipulation; standing and walking; occasional stooping, bending, reaching; lifting up to 50 pounds; computer-based work; occasional travel.
