Brief Description

Sabert is looking for Experienced Machine Operators to join our team! Starting rate: $23.50 + $1 shift differential. Day and Night shift positions available.

Summary: We have exciting opportunities for individuals who are mechanically inclined and willing to learn! Machine Operators exemplify our high safety and quality standards, leading by example and ensuring lines run efficiently and products meet customer standards before shipping.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Start up and operate extrusion and thermoforming lines.
• Make process adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Operate and adjust automation equipment, lip roller, bagger, etc.
• Coordinate and supervise packers on the line for efficient production.
• Monitor line set points, temperatures, and pressures to maintain standards.
• Assist with tooling changeovers as needed.
• Complete production reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attendance and performance records
• Attention to detail
• Good safety record
• Previous operator or mechanical experience preferred

Physical Characteristics:

• Standing 95% of the day
• Lifting up to 40 lbs
• Heat exposure when working on extruder die

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• 2-2-3 work schedule
