Job Opportunity: Machine Operator I in Lampasas, TX

Oil States, a respected leader in technology and manufacturing for over 80 years, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Machine Operator I. This entry-level role involves preparing and operating press machines to produce high-quality rubber products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all materials for production are available
• Load hot molds with rubber and operate presses
• Remove parts from molds and inspect them
• Clean molds and equipment
• Record temperature and time data
• Change molds as necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
• Operate a forklift as needed

Qualification Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Manage one production line with multiple presses
• Willingness to work overtime if required
• Basic communication and mathematical skills
• Adherence to safe work practices

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees
