Machine Operator Entry 1st Shift

Reporting Line

This position reports to: Production Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Execute assigned tasks according to workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines, reporting any non-compliance.
  2. Operate machines following the operating manual, work schedule, and production instructions.
  3. Perform routine machinery setup, adjustments, repairs, and fit simple replacement parts.
  4. Ensure regular maintenance of equipment, setup of tools, programming activities, and troubleshoot issues.
  5. Maintain the availability of required materials for workflow execution.
  6. Maintain a safe working environment and attitude during daily activities.
  7. Keep detailed records of machinery setups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  8. Track approved, defective units, and final products.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Specialist technical and engineering skills.
  • Legal work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
