Machine Operator/Dry Sausage - 2nd Shift - South Hutchinson, KS

Job Details:

This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

This position has a starting base rate pay of $20.45 per hour with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.

We currently have various Machine Operator positions open that applicants may be considered for.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product and proper ingredient usage.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings, notify supervisor for maintenance needs, and maintain safety standards.
• Learn and use new EIM System, handheld scanners, and perform other assigned duties.
• Wear required PPE including steel-toed shoes, bump cap, and hearing protection.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull 80 lbs, and perform tasks involving torso flexion and arm extension.
• Stand continuously in workstations and work in environments with temperatures between 38-50 degrees, sometimes wet.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 months of documented operator experience.
• Previous Tyson employment requires a minimum 180-day rehire waiting period and limits to 3 employment instances.

Additional Information:
