Responsibilities

1. Compare and approve print quality within specified limits of the tri-fold color range.
2. Calculate the number of parts needed to complete the order.
3. Number labels on each order in sequence, beginning where the prior shift ended.
4. Place completed boxes on skids and individual parts in totes or on tray packs.
5. Place product of poor quality in a scrap box or tote. Place SCRAP labels on all scrap containers.
6. Ensure products made of like materials are placed in the same box.
7. Complete the corresponding paperwork for each order.
8. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.
9. Communicate with operators taking over your machine about any quality issues or customer specifications encountered during the shift.
10. Notify of any print quality concerns regarding product.
11. Stamp completed boxes with date, shift, and clock number.
12. Maintain an orderly and clean work area.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
2. Ability to calculate part requirements.
3. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift and 10.75 hours during a 12-hour shift.
5. Minimal lifting capabilities of 30 lbs. at a frequency of 20 times per hour.
6. Visual acuity of at least 20/40 corrected vision for distance and the ability to read 7-point font at 12 inches.
7. Ability to reach and lift 30 lbs. to shoulder height at least 10 times per hour.
8. Must pass the Ishihara color vision test.
