Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator to run Cryo Machines and ensure safety compliance on the production floor in the United States. The role covers equipment checks, monitoring packaging quality, and performing valve and poly changes with changeovers.

You will maintain sanitation in the West Packaging area, follow SQF guidelines, and record production data, dates, and labels while collaborating with QA, safety, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Uses RedZone to configure SKU settings, conduct checks and verify product description and date codes.
• Observes product bagging to detect defect packaging, misalignment and correct as needed.
• Required to do Poly changes and Product changeovers
• Stops equipment to clear/clean jaws.
• Keeping work area clean and free of debris, cutting waste into a tote as needed.
• Can perform basic maintenance.
• Inform lead and/or supervisor, or maintenance, of any equipment malfunction.
• Maintain records related to production, including date codes and product labels.
• Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
• Ability to embrace change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
• Also responsible for sanitation process within the production area, along with other production staff.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for the operation of the Cryo Machines. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.

Duties and Responsibilities

Also responsible for sanitation process within the production area, along with other production staff. Typically, complete sanitation in West Packaging on the Cryovacs, conveyors and floors. In these areas use of standard chemicals including but not limited to chlorinated products and sanitizers.

The pay range for this position is $17.85 to $21.42 per hour.
