Job summary

ALPLA is seeking an entry-level manufacturing team member at the Lima, Ohio plant to take responsibility for the production line from start to finish, including packaging and quality checks. You will record production data, ensure quantities meet specs, assist with mold/color changes, and collaborate with the team to maintain cleanliness and safety.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Background in Plastics Industry preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Overall line responsibility from production to packaging.
• Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantity and in accordance with specifications.
• Accurately records goods produced and problems encountered during shift.
• Ensures product meets all quality specifications.
• Line clearance and autonomous maintenance check list responsibilities.
• Perform color and material changes as needed.
• Assist Machine Operator II/Supervisor and Mold Change Team with mold/color changes.
• Maintain good housekeeping within department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
