Job summary

Inland Packaging in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Machine Operator - Day Shift to join our label and packaging production team. You will set up and run a label-cutting machine, ensuring customer specifications are met and product quality is maintained throughout the process.

We offer a starting wage of $22.00 per hour, rotating 12-hour shifts with week-one schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. On‑the‑job training, paid time off, health/dental/vision, and 401K match help support your career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and motivation to contribute.
• Willingness to learn new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run a label-cutting machine per customer specs.
• Maintain quality of finished product through production.
• Cross-train in other roles across production.
• Complete QA checks and raise issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to meet goals.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.

Work Schedule:Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

Typical Day in the Role:

The Cutter Operator is responsible for tasks that include:

• Setting up and running a machine that cuts labels, based on customer specifications
• Managing quality of finished product through the complete production process
• Cross-training in other roles across the production environment
• Completing quality assurance checks and raising concerns where needed
• Problem solving issues that arise
• Effectively working as a team member to meet production and company goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree required
• 1 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
