Job summary
Saica Pack US Hamilton, OH is hiring a Converting Operator to safely setup, operate, and maintain converting equipment for corrugated packaging. The role offers a 1st shift (6:00am–4:00pm, M-Thurs) with pay up to $25.00 per hour based on experience and shift premiums.
Overtime, bonuses, and day-one benefits are available. As a Converting Operator you will read production orders, monitor performance, perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues with maintenance, and help drive continuous
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements include prior manufacturing experience.
- Corrugated converting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Flexo Folder Gluers, Rotary Die Cutters, or Specialty Folder Gluers preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate converting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret production orders and customer specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as necessary.
- Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and work with maintenance as needed.
- Minimize waste while maximizing machine efficiency.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

The Converting Operator is responsible for the safe setup, operation, and maintenance of converting equipment used to manufacture corrugated boxes and specialty packaging products. This position plays a critical role in achieving production, quality, safety, and customer service objectives.
- Flexo Folder Gluers (FFG)
- Rotary Die Cutters (RDC)
- Specialty Folder Gluers

Minimum requirements

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
