Job summary

Steffes Solutions, LLC seeks a Day Shift operator to safely run production machines. You will read blueprints and follow standard work and training guides for each process.

Responsibilities include applying Kanban and build boards, using hand tools, reporting defects, and contributing to quality, safety and customer satisfaction through teamwork and adherence to company values. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift 70 pounds, with overtime as needed.

Day Shift - Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm *Friday overtime based on production needs

Position Summary

Responsible for the safe operation of production machines. Must be able to read blueprints and follow standard work and training guides provided for each process or product.

Functional & Cognitive Requirements

• This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
• Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
• Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
• Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities.
• Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed.
