Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Machine Operator to run print and rendition equipment, including high-volume printers, with duties covering pre/post print processing and related peripherals. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to work with paper dust and toner.

Training starts Day One with room for growth. The position runs Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., with a 10% shift differential for overnight work.

Job Description

This Machine Operator will be responsible for operating various print and rendition related equipment including mainframe connected, high speed, high volume printers, pre and post print processing hardware. Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Monitors and operates other peripheral output processing devices (i.e., CDROM processing systems), mail processing related inserters to meet established deadlines, service level agreements and regulatory requirements.

  • Other machines may include, but are not limited to, various types of office equipment, machines used to process specialized related work, and computer peripheral equipment.

  • This position requires consistent repetitive motion (keying) using both hands/arms while operating machines.

  • The incumbent must possess both the manual dexterity and the physical capability to work under these conditions.

  • Job requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and repeated bending. Work environment conditions include paper dust and toner particles.

We are seeking candidates that can work Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. 10% Shift Differential added to hourly base for working overnight shift.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two to three years of experience in the operation of basic office and computer peripheral equipment

  • Physical ability to operate machines (possesses manual dexterity, ability to key repetitively using both hands and arms, and possesses the capability to work under the given conditions)

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of operations, including office equipment and machines

  • Demonstrated clerical, reading, writing and communication skills

  • Demonstrated key entry skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00
