Job description

Overview

The Operator at Cook Polymer Technology - Canton is responsible for the safe operation and basic troubleshooting of the PTFE extrusion line(s), including all downstream equipment. The operator will also complete and document product in-process inspections to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and document key process conditions and product characteristics (dimensional and physical).
  2. Maintain a clean work environment; clean as you work.
  3. Reload and start the machine.
  4. Tear down and clean tooling and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Technical school certifications and/or college-level technical degree preferred.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office required.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is projected at $16.00/hour, with potential increases based on performance and tenure, up to a maximum of $27.00/hour. The role is eligible for a variable bonus based on company performance. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:
