Overview

The Operator at Cook Polymer Technology - Canton is responsible for the safe operation and basic troubleshooting of the PTFE extrusion line(s), including all downstream equipment. The role also involves completing and documenting product in-process inspections to ensure overall product quality.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and document key process conditions and product dimensional and physical characteristics.
2. Maintain a clean work environment; clean as you work.
3. Reload and start the machine.
4. Tear down and clean tooling and machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Technical School certifications and/or college-level technical degree preferred.
• Basic experience using Microsoft Office is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Cook projects the starting hourly pay at $16.00/hour, with future adjustments based on performance and tenure. The maximum pay rate is $27.00/hour. The role is eligible for a variable bonus based on company performance. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) and profit-sharing plan, paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability and life insurance, and well-being resources. Additional voluntary benefits are available, funded entirely by employees.
