Job description

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator for our Las Vegas, NV location.

Our Machine Operators perform various tasks to meet the production demand of the plant in a safe manner, complying with all company safety policies and ensuring that all manufactured products meet specifications and achieve superior quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Perform machine operations to produce high-quality paper products.
  2. Set up, monitor, and adjust machine settings, tolerances, and paper quality.
  3. Operate a hoist and pallet jack to load large paper rolls into machine brackets.
  4. Operate computer panels to indicate roll diameters, lengths, perforations, and log saw functions.
  5. Perform quality checks at various points in the process.
  6. Monitor product specifications to confirm accuracy.
  7. Operate and monitor packaging equipment as necessary.
  8. Maintain machine adjustments to support optimal efficiency.
  9. Communicate work area information at shift changes.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Schedule Availability: Rotating shifts.

Experience: Previous experience with machine operation or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
