A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Machine Operator 1 in Columbus, NE. The Operator will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time position, offering 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with the potential to be hired permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability is a rotating shift from 6am to 6pm (2-2-3 schedule)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine production functions, including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision
• Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
• Follow standard operating procedures and make effective decisions within your role
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience:
  • 6 months to 1 year of work experience
  • Ability to develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and understand specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations
  • Must be able to work flexible and extended hours and report punctually
