Position: CNC Machine Operator & Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator & Programmer responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality metal or plastic parts. The role involves developing precise programs, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining parameters.
• Create and develop CNC programs using specialized software like CAM to analyze and produce parts efficiently.
• Operate CNC machines and other equipment such as saws, lathes, and milling machines.
• Ensure precise measurements using appropriate tools and perform multiple readings to minimize errors.
• Monitor production runs, make adjustments, and troubleshoot machine issues or programming errors.
• Inspect finished parts to verify they meet specifications and tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with CNC programming using CAM software.
• Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and material properties.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
