Overview

Position Title: Machine Operator (CNC) 1st Shift

Department: Manufacturing - CNC

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Waynesboro, PA

Workplace Type: Onsite

Reporting To: Duane Fuss

Compensation: $17.80 / hour

Responsibilities

The Machine CNC Operator (1st shift) operates machines that finish the ends of pipes. These products are then sent to the next phases of the process. The operator is responsible for producing a quality product.

• Set machines properly for the right diameter and length of pipe.
• Load machines with pieces of pipe cut to specified lengths per the production schedule (cut blanks). May operate multiple machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe machine and work area.
• Perform required maintenance checks.
• Keep accurate production records in the computer planning system and meet established production standards.

What You Will Bring

• Ability to read tape measure
• Requires constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day)
• Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day)
• Requires repetitive twisting
• Repetitive reaching at and above shoulder level and bending at the waist
• Working with water soluble coolant
• An awareness of exposed cuttings and moving parts on the machine
• Lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
