Job DescriptionJob Description

CNC Machine Operator – Precision Work. Flexible Hours. Real Impact.

Shift options:

  • Day: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Evening: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • (Choose what works best for you. We’ll tailor it to fit your life.)

Compensation:

$24–$36/hour (based on experience)

  • Overtime available (40–55 hrs/week if you want it)

Why You Might Want This Job

You're not looking to babysit a machine. You’re looking to run it — and own the process.

This isn’t a button-pushing role. You’ll be trusted to set up, program, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC mills and lathes — including challenging one-off parts, short-run R&D, and first article inspections.

If you're tired of being micromanaged or siloed, you'll find a lot more autonomy here. You'll have direct input into tooling, fixture design, and process improvements. And your ideas will actually get implemented.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Set up and run complex CNC jobs — no handholding.
  • Program at the control or offline using models and prints.
  • Solve problems fast — adjust feeds, speeds, tooling, and setups.
  • Design and test your own fixtures to reduce waste and improve quality.
  • Work directly with Engineering, Quality, and Production.
  • Contribute to new training materials and work instructions.
  • Keep your work area clean and safe (and expect the same from your team).

What You Bring

  • 10+ years CNC machining experience — mill or lathe required.
  • Fluent in G-code and CNC programming.
  • You’ve worked with Fanuc or Haas controls, Mastercam or GibbsCAM.
  • Strong attention to detail — no cutting corners.
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work across departments.
  • Experience in ISO/AS environments and first article processes? Even better.

The Extras (That Actually Matter)

  • Full benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • HSA + PTO + Paid holidays
  • Referral bonuses
  • Clean shop, organized workflow, and a no-drama team

What’s Next

  • Quick aptitude test
  • Interview (phone or onsite — your choice)
  • Background check (no felonies)
  • Start building something you’re proud of

We’re hiring 2–3 operators right now — across both shifts. If you’re the kind of person who likes being trusted with the tough jobs and left to get them done right, this is your kind of shop.

Apply now and let’s talk about the shift, team, and setup that makes the most sense for you.
