Your Job

Molex, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, is currently seeking a Finishing Operator, Brazing to join our team. The Finishing Operator, Brazing, is responsible for safety setups and operating brazing equipment to meet Molex’s quality and performance standards while maintaining high levels of workplace organization.

Shifts available:

• 1st Shift - Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

What You Will Do

• Setup brazing machines with proper tooling and load feeder bowls with assigned parts
• Perform complex setups on paste modules and feed tracks
• Troubleshoot simple to moderate machine and sensor problems
• Assist brazing operators with workflow, material needs, and machine operations
• Perform minor machine maintenance on paste modules, feed tracks, and related equipment
• Assist in daily and monthly preventative maintenance duties
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and perform basic math functions
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality
• Setup vision/camera for equipment using part images
• Support 5S, EHS, Quality, and GLSS programs by following practices, performing cleanup, and suggesting improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Ability to use quality tools related to this position
• Ability to operate safely in a high-pressure environment
• Proactive and able to work independently or with others with limited supervision
• Ability to lift and transport up to 35 lbs and stand throughout the shift
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Availability for scheduled hours and overtime, including alternate shifts

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience operating multiple machines with soldering, paste, and annealing applications
• Over 1 year of manufacturing experience
