Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Bindery Operator to support our fast-paced print production team. You will run bindery equipment, learn new machines, and cooperate with colleagues to deliver high-quality products on time.

We offer competitive pay with a base range of $38,880–$41,932 annually, plus benefits and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Night shifts include a $3.00/hour differential for hours after 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery equipment in a small format capacity and learn new machines.
• Troubleshoot production issues to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform basic maintenance on bindery machinery.
• Conduct quality control to meet company standards.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as directed by management.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely order completion.

$3.00 per hour Shift Differential on top of your base pay if you work the majority of your shift after 5:00 pm

Shifts available

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Sun-Tue, Monday - Wednesday OR Wed-Fri)
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Sun-Tue OR Wed-Fri) +$3.00/hr Shift Differential

Both shifts are overtime eligible. Night shifts include an additional $3.00/hour premium on top of base pay since hours fall after 5:00 PM. (Note: This is an ongoing/evergreen posting to build our talent pipeline; applications are reviewed regularly as positions open).

• possess a thorough and organized approach to your work

• understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information

In this position you'll

• complete the job successfully and provide a quality product the customer will want to order again
• run the bindery equipment in a small format capacity
• run existing bindery equipment and be open to learning how to run new equipment
• troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
• perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards
• perform basic maintenance of the bindery machines
• complete miscellaneous projects and various tasks as requested by management

Compensation Range: $38,880 - $41,932 annually

(This base pay range does not include additional compensation such as shift differentials).
