Machine Operator - Beef Steak Runner 2nd Shift (Finance)

This role is responsible for operating various types of machinery, as needed, and as described by assigned leadership.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Operate assigned equipment according to the production schedule and product specifications.
  2. Disassemble equipment for sanitation at the end of each shift.
  3. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and notify maintenance when necessary.
  4. Record and adjust data related to operations.
  5. Calibrate systems for time, temperature, and equipment positioning.
  6. Interpret temperature data related to the process.
  7. Use measuring devices and record product parameters accurately.
  8. Perform daily equipment checks and corrective actions.
  9. Collaborate with maintenance to establish preventive maintenance procedures.
  10. Report any unusual or out-of-spec operations to management.
  11. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with policies.
  12. Take ownership of equipment and machinery responsibilities.
  13. Follow safety procedures and organizational policies, including safety, GMPs, food safety, and employment rules.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
  • 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
  • Follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Read and follow recipes and specifications.
  • Understand measurement units and applications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or schematics in English.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Work Environment

Manufacturing plant environment with noise, temperature extremes, and moving equipment. No domestic travel required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
