Sabre Industries, Inc. in Alvarado, Texas is hiring a Machine Operator B. You will read shop drawings and lay out parts, then cut, punch, bend, drill and stamp materials per job orders under supervision of the Manufacturing Manager.

The role requires at least 1 year of welding-related experience, the ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and a commitment to safety and attendance. This full-time, on-site position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Contribute to a safe, productive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine operation sequence.
• Cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill or stamp materials per drawings.
• Change or replace tooling and consumables as needed.
• Set up machines with proper techniques to prevent damage.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Operate overhead cranes, gantries, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and work scheduled shifts.
• Perform basic machine maintenance diagnostics.
